Valentine’s Day is approaching and there are some singles out there who visit singles dating websites to see if they can find someone whom they can spend Valentine’s Day with and hopefully be their partner. I have two friends who met their partners online and they are really happy with their relationship. One got married two years ago while the other one is still enjoying their relationship as boyfriend-girlfriend. I have to admit, I admire those people who look for partners online because I was not able to do that when I was still single. I never tried to meet singles online because I was scared that they are not honest with me since I don’t see them personally nor know them at all. But that’s just me because based on the experience of my friends, they are glad they took the risk and now they are happy.
Anyhow, I have several friends now who I’ve met online and I’m really happy with how our friendship blossomed. I may not always be present when they talk online or when they go out to meet but I know I can count on them on anything. I’m really glad I decided to meet people online because it made me gain more friends and it’s a friendship that I know can last a lifetime. :)
