I like the size of the planner this year, it’s handy and I love that it comes with a pouch and a bookmark. I hope I’ll be able to use this planner this year because last year’s planner was too big for me that I don’t get to bring it with me all the time. :)

Gifts
Labels: gifts, treatI have a cousin a lot younger than me who’s so fascinated with different cars. Whenever he talks about it you would know that his passion really is on cars. There are even times that I have no idea what he was talking about but I just let him talk so I would know about it too. Last Christmas, I decided to give him plastic model cars because when I saw it, it reminded me so much of him. Luckily he liked the gift and thanked me when he received it. He said we will talk about cars again the next time I visit him. :)

Labels: home, treatA pipe in the house has been leaking for quite some time already and my helper said that our water bill might be high next month because of it. I asked some friends on what to do with it and some said replace the pipe, others said if we don’t have a pipe yet, we can use rubber tape to serve as patch while others said we consider using teflon hose as replacement. We have not decided yet on what to do but we really hope our bill won’t be high.

Labels: money, tips, treatFor a quick way to cover unexpected expenses, people can conveniently avail loans from of cash advance lenders. These services have helped cover medical bills, and mortgages; and avoid paying late fees and bounced checks. In order to know if a cash advance is best for your situation, here are some facts to consider regarding this type of financial assistance.

Cash Advance Uses
Surveys have shown that most cash advance loans are used to cover unexpected costs. In fact close to 75% of cash advance loans go toward medical expense, monthly bills or car repairs. When these types of emergencies arise, many find cash advance lenders a preferable and less expensive route than paying late fees or bounced check expenses.
Paying Bills and Avoiding Late Fees
Should you find yourself against a wall when it comes to your bills, accepting a loan from a cash advance lender is often preferable rather than be charged with $30 to $40 late fees by credit cards. Don't let your utilities get disconnected, because you'll end up paying more for reconnection. Depending on the amount of these fees, you should compare the costs of taking out a cash advance in order to arrive at the best informed decision possible.
Bounced Checks and Overdraft Charges
The fees associated with bounced checks can range between $35 and $75, so if you’re paying your bank and the merchant but you're uncertain about the funds in your checking account, a cash advance is a comfortable alternative. The same holds true you use your bank’s overdraft protection; usually they charge a hefty sum for that privilege as well. When these mistakes happen, people tend to bounce more than one check so these fees and expenses can pile up and become a bigger problem, so don't hesitate to get a cash advance loan.
Considerations Before Requesting a Cash Advance

Though cash advances can be a great way to avoid unwanted fees and penalties, you should also consider other alternatives if using them makes more sense. With that in mind, try to consider these options before making your decision:
- Request that the company you owe money to, work out a repayment plan or offer you an extension
- Your credit card or bank may offer you a loan that better meets your needs
- Friends of family may be willing to help you out financially
- Cut back on unnecessary expenses temporarily until you can stabilize your financial situation
- Certain community programs offer assistance for emergency needs
These options could be less costly and more beneficial to your situation. Should none of these prove to be available or realistic, cash advance lenders can be a good way to go. But as with all things in life, do your homework and find the ones that offer you the best rates, and beware of any introductory scam rates that jump up days later.
